McMaster Continuing Education

The Challenge

We’ve seen firsthand how a well-crafted video can transform the way an educational institution is perceived. It’s about more than just views and clicks; it’s about creating content that inspires and connects.

In Hamilton, Ontario, where the education sector is thriving, standing out can be a challenge. We were asked by the McMaster Continuing Education team to create a series of videos that would raise brand awareness and help drive enrolment to their online courses.

Our goal was to reach their target audience that ranged from 25-44 in Ontario, Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec. Adult learners are eager to advance their careers or gain valuable knowledge. By utilizing McMaster Continuing Educations 'Fast-Track Your Career' slogan in video, we were able to tell these stories successfully.

Our Approach

We put our heads together and came up with 4 scenarios that complemented each other. From casting, editorial music choices, and transitions, every detail came together! Our series of videos ranged from 15-30 seconds in length, capturing the attention of the clients audience. Through these short, impactful stories, we showcased how McMaster Continuing Education is transforming students' careers. It’s all about capturing those powerful moments of change!

The Results

We pushed our boundaries with this project, and it truly unleashed our creativity! The videos have already racked up over 494,000 views across YouTube and organic social—and they're still climbing. We’re thrilled to report that the client's YouTube ads saw a phenomenal boost, with the Video Completion Rate (VCR) skyrocketing from 30% to 90%, resulting in over 2,000 clicks.

But that's not all! Our video series earned us a Canadian Association for University Continuing Education (CAUCE) Award for Digital Advertising. Plus, we’re excited to share that Atomic Spark snagged a bronze in the Educational Institution - Branded Content category at The Telly Awards. We're proud of what we’ve achieved and can’t wait to see what’s next!
